Your home base will be our waterfront family lodge on Lake Mattamuskeet in Hyde County. This winter resting area in the middle of the Atlantic Flyway is home to one of the largest, most diverse populations of waterfowl in the country. We hunt the entire eastern North Carolina Pamlico Sound area including Dare, Hyde, Tyrell, Washington and Beaufort counties. We hunt private blinds, open water float blinds and we do open water duck hunting. We hunt for diver ducks, puddle ducks, sea ducks, geese and swans (note permit required for swans). What Waterfowl are Here?Geese - Canada, white-fronted, snow, blue, ross Seasons and bag limits change from year to year so always check the NC Wildlife web site for current regulations. * Note: Swans can be taken by permit only one per person, per year. RatesCustomize your hunting trip to get the experience you want. We hunt Monday through Saturday and can accomodate up to eight hunters (4 maximum per group, 2 minimum per group). $500 per person/per day We provide all boats, blinds, stands and decoys and retrievers and we provide bird cleaning facilities and carcass disposal. We can recommend taxidermy services. Reservations must be booked in advance and require a 50% deposit. Deposits are refundable with 30 days notice. Balance is due upon arrival. Cash or check only.
